Has anyone installed these in their car? How do they perform? Im in the process of getting gears but I dont know what to choose, 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10. This car is my daily driver and does see about 40 miles highway and 10 miles city everyday. Seeing that gas is around the 2.75/gal range, i dont want to lose alot of my gas mileage.

04BlueGT thanks for the threads but it doesnt mention the 3.90 gears. I still wanna know if anyone has these installed and what kinda of mileage do they get.

 

I had 3.90's and now I have 4.10's. Gas mileage will be almost the same. You'll like the 4.10's better. I went with 3.90's because I was intimidated by the thought of 4.10's. Big mistake. Just get 4.10's. They rev slightly higher on the highway, but nothing that should deter you from getting them.

 

I put 3.90s in my 02 GT last month. I haven't noticed any real difference in gas mileage.
To give you a yardstick -- 75mph is about 2500rpms in 5th gear now.

 

just get the 4.10's its a slight difference between them and the 3.90's just a little more gear for takeoff.. i have 4.30's on mine with my automatic and they dont bother me or my gas mileage at all..
