Do not waist your money doing this. Do the simple tune up stuff first

Yeah, I put new gaskets on everything that had one that I took off.

I hooked up my scan tool today and got nothing at all. Checked all the hoses this morning on the intake, everything is attached and tight. Ran fine this morning. On my way home from work tonite, she started acting up again. I made sure to try and make the problem happen. I realized that it's happening in 2nd-5th gears under load. Also, I drove with the windows down, in case I could hear something going on, and I noticed a very slight, low key "put put" like sound in the exhaust that went along with the stuttering. Sounded almost like a misfire.

^^^ I'm having this exact same friggin problem lol... I'm subscribed, with hopes to get mine fixed too. I changed plugs, pulled out NGK Ridiums and replaced with motocraft platinums. Made the car start better, but made the "Put put" as you described, more noticeable. I'm goin to attemt fuel filter change soon if I dont get the problem fixed.

Exactly. I work at a Kia dealer, one of the techs there checked it out, he's pretty familiar with Mustangs. He's sayin it's probably a coil. Possibly a wire. There's no codes or pending codes right now though.

The only code my car has right now is an o2 sensor, after cat. I didnt know if this code was due to the offroad midpipe or whatnot. Other than that, no codes to help lead to a solution.

I was finally able to force a code out today. Cyl 8 misfire. I'm going to test out the coil and see if it's that or the plug. I want to do a full tune-up but if I can just get it running smooth again for a couple weeks 'till I have more money, I'll be good.
