Just about every kit out there is designed to work with a tubular k and this is the reason. There is too much piping to be ran with how bulky the stock one is. I think you'll be fine if you get an aftermarket one. Call the maker of the hotside and ask who they recommend.

I am worried that even a tubular kmember wont work. Maybe you're right... But see where it is hitting there. All kmembers I see out there have a tube running right there.

I have sent an email to the manufacturer, but I dont expect much from them. The kit was half-***ed... I wouldn't make the buy again if I had the choice.

Do you really think the tubular kmember will give me the clearance I need? I will go buy one now if so, but I don't want to dump any more money into a hopeless project. I am going to be so depressed if I cant make something work here.

I'm pretty sure ever turbo kit on the market needs a k-member, theres so little room with the stock stamped steel piece. plus all that added weight...

definately find out what k-member the manufacturer specifies. the wrong k-member can make things difficult.

who specifically made this?
