Default Dynotune pre-requisites?

Sup all.. Im getting ready to call my shop and setup a appointment for my dynotune.. Everything Is hooked up other then the vacuum line to BOV which will be done shortly... Do I need a boost gauge setup for the dynotune? I have one just haven't installed it.. I dont have a mounting solution yet as I have not made up my mind on what I want exactly...

Im torn between a pillar and the dash pod.... It shouldn't be a problem correct?

THe boost gauge is not necessary for the tune but is nice. It will help verify that you are where you should be as far as boost levels go. I didn't have one for my tune but wish i did. I just installed a glow shift boost/vacuum gauge into a steering column pod.

i had my gauge (as it is now) just sitting in the cup holder hooked up to the vacuum line as i didnt have an option to mount it yet either. my tuner had a spare gauge (mine is in bar because of a mix up, his is in PSI) so we used his, and ran with it sitting in the engine bay on the battery so we could see it.
