Bad pcm... Thought of it being that, Going to do a compression test first to find out. Fan doesn't come on... however; when I add a tune or modify a tune with the predator, I believe it would turn on the fan for a little bit, it doesn't do that now. Wonder if it is the pcm. I take it you had to take yours to the dealership to get reprogrammed correct?

No I had to get a new pcm. Then I had to have my PATS turned off because the PCM didnt talk to the transponder in the column and I didnt want to go to dealership lol.

Gotcha... I'd rather have PATS turned off. I'm actually hoping it's a pcm issue so I can just get this crap fixed. Thanks for the info man.

MIne was doing almost the exact same thing. Except when it started to run bad raw fuel was coming out of the tailpipes. Seems the PCM was running the injectors at max. I got my PCM from prestige mustangs for 200. Haven't had an issue since. Good luck and keep us posted

Sorry for the long delay. Family was sick so couldn't work on it, then of course, I was sick! Took off the valve covers and on the driver-side head, 4 of the exhaust cam followers broke off, which was the noise I heard last year. Hoping valves aren't bent or anything. Been told two different things by two different people.

Person 1: These cars have a problem with the followers falling off.
Person 2: These cams (Comp Cam Xe268's) aren't made for this car due to the pi swap. Funny thing is, COMP recommended me this cam for my setup. If I find out its a problem with this cam on my car, I'm going to be pretty pissed.

The crazy thing is that these cams have been on my car for over 2 years and never had a problem... However; I never ran good with the cams either, so who knows.

It's also strange that the other head/cam/followers are perfectly fine. if it was a PTV issue, I doubt I'd be able to put the 5k miles (or so) I put on the car the last few years... Probably more than that.

I should have the replacement followers here soon (week?) and will let everyone know whats up.
