When I bought my car, it had a bodykit on it... I didn't know wtf I was doing, I was 17. I ended up wasting like $200 and like 2 hours of my time trying to get that d*mn JLT CAI on my car. I'm trying to help people like you save money and time. Get gears, 4.10s or 4.30s. I have 4.10s and got over 300 miles to the gallon when I dd'd my mustang.

That is EXTREMELY good information!

I will buy the K&N Filter then...it's much cheaper a CAI and I've seen some pictures of guys with them under the hood and they look pretty nice under the hood.

So Z28KLR, what other mods would you recommend?

I have an issue with my seat you all might be able to help me with. I bought the car used 10 years old. I can feel the metal brackets around the leg supports digging into my leg (enough that it hurts). I found a replacement cushion for $200 plus bucks, but I don't even know if that will altogether fix the problem. I have a 40" waist and the shape of the seat itself caused even the cushion part to dig into my thighs a bit.

I've looked around on some more forums and found alot of guys buy these $300-$400 racing seats by Corbeau (wide version) or other more expensive brand seats. But if I do that I'll have to buy 2 to match the passenger seat to it.

Is that my only options? I'm wondering if I can go to my local upholstery shop and have them help me modify the seat somehow. Maybe cut the metal brackets out or something!?

What do you all think?
