Unless you are a dedicated drag racer, do not need the aftercooler
Better off fabbing your own air-to-air intercooler

Could you run enough boost to hit like 400 hp without an aftercooler?

yea about 10-11 psi with some bolt ons, but both ar S trims and will max out at 550+rwhp

That should be plenty for a DD thats 600+ to the motor thats Alot more than the stock 260hp to the motor.

From what i've seen it looks like either using meth or rigging up your own intercooler (or buying a reasonably priced one) is the only way to go. No way in hell would i pay $1800 for that overpriced crappy aftercooler.
