2000 GT Tuning

I have that OEM tune and the Delta Force template, let me make a SF base tune and see what it has changed--are there any mods on the car mow?

as far as i can tell it's showroom stock except for me pulling out the factory mufflers and welding in resonator pipes, and removing the silencer on the intake... not like it's actually needed lol. but no nothing significant enough to cause issues.

Any new-edge Mustang running the stock tune, needs a tune...

i just told my friend the something like that.. shouldn't bug the guy doing something for ya for free. no rush on it in any case, we did run into another snag though, his factory plastic intake bombed today. the crossover pipe for the coolant cracked WIDE open. so we gota get the new intake installed before the weekend or the plans to hit the strip are gone. went with the ford racing piece that has the aluminum crossover pipe and a set of fel-pro gaskets for like $250 shipped next day air

To clear things up a bit, I had not offered to make a tune for you (I do not do "mail-order" tunes¹)--just create a tune using Special Forces V2.x and report what it changed when the base tune was created, here is that.
I used SF and only the following changes from the default base tune settings:
- Box Code: GTG2;
- Transmission: Manual;
- Fuel Octane: 93;
Here's what Special Forces changed when the base tune was created:
Scalers:
- Global Spark Adder: +2.0°;
- MAF Max Volts: 4.99 (from 4.79);
- WOT Aircharge Correction Factor: 1.95 (from 1.1);
Tables:
- Spark Borderline: add 2.0° above 79% load, from 500 to 6000 rpm;
- Stabilised Open Loop Fuel: richen mix @ 80% load up to 2000 rpm,
lean the mix from there up;
There are also various non-performance related changes related to adaptive learning, optimisation of OBD2 monitoring, etc.
This is, as I expected, 99.44% of what any canned or mail order tune set to your mods would look like. Your friend can create this tune using Special Forces and the selections I listed above.
You may wish to further tweak the rpm range timing on SF's Fine Tuning dialog. Sneak up on it in each range 0.5° at a time, and listen for pinging on hard acceleration--when you hear it back off 0.5°.
Do not muck about with fueling unless you have a wide band O2 system.
------------------------------------------------
¹ - Special Forces' tunes, generated by entering your car's specs in the input dialogs, are as good as any "canned" tune and as most any customised mail-order tune. Any further optimisation requires that each of the tuner's senses (sight, taste, smell, touch, hearing) be able to be applied directly to the project.
