Default Need help with

So today when I popped the hood on my car I noticed that my power steering fluid was overflowing out of the top of the reservoir. The fluid was also brown, burnt obviously. Steering is fine at highway speeds and city streets, and doesn't make any odd sounds. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Im assuming its a bad power steering pump. And does anyone have a general idea of what it would cost to replace the pump.

Could also be air in the PS system, had the same issue with a 02 mercury sable. Jack the front end off the groud start the vehicle and turn the wheels back and forth from stop to stop several times and keep checking the resovoir and top off and repeat the process till all the bubbles are gone. (If its not the pump bad obviously)
