headlight lens turning colors
Does anybody know what to do about headlights that start to turn a milky white color? I've heard that there is something you can put on them to fix it but I don't know who makes it, what it is called, or where to get it.

RE: headlight lens turning colors
Go to your local parts store and buy some 'Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish'. Get a rag and the polish and coat the headlights in it rubbing it all around. Then take a clean rag and wipe it off clean. Apply another coat to the whole headlight, you don't have to sweat doing this, just make sure they are coated and the polish is rubbed on good. Then buffed off the second coat. After that applie a third coat making sure the whole lens was coated and left it on them for about 10 hours. You could also just leave the third coat on overnight. After that go back to them and buffed them clean with a new rag.

Here ya go, I just did this, this past weekend and spent about 2 hours on it. My light are like brand new now. http://www.mustangevolution.com/arti...htrestoration/ The trick was to spend some good time with the 600 grit and put some good muscle behind it too, use at least one piece of 600, 1500, and 2000 grit on each head light for best results. Good luck
