Default Coilover comparision to other cars

If I get front and rear coilovers on my 2003 GT, how would the handling be? What cars from the factory could it be comparable too? Bear in mind that I do have a convertible. Would it handle as nice as the new 5.0 or better?

Thanks.

I looked around in the other threads and it doesn't say how CO's compare to other vehicles. Does anybody know?

What are you really asking for? You can't just throw on coilovers and compare it to a stock oem car. The mustang with coilovers handles much better than with dampers/springs in oem position, other than that I dunno how else to compare it for you. Maybe a little kitty can come along and shed some light cause I'm at a loss as to how to answer your q.

Different animals

For starters, the 5.0 (S197 version) has a different rear suspension than the SN95, but both can be made to handle VERY well with proper upgrades. The S197 just doesn't need as many to do better.

Probably doesn't completely answer your question, but is just too open ended.
