Default Normal oil pressure readings?

Just installed a Speed of Sound gauge pillar and couple Glow Shift gauges. Always run Mobil 1 full synthetic and had just changed oil. On first start up, oil pressure reads 80-90psi. Gauge goes up to 100psi. After going for first ride, as engine warmed up, oil pressure went down.

My question is, how low should it go when sitting at idle at normal operating temperature? I grabbed my camera and got a clip in HD. Will post the link to the video I posted on YouTube. Don't mind my blaring music. Clip is focused on pressure gauge.

when I start up cold I run 78 psi

Once it warms up, (really warms up) I run from 18-20 psi. As soon as any gas is given the pressure gauge will go up past 50 and climb with rpms

Yeah, That is what mine does. Being how the factory pressure gauge doesn't move, I never really knew what pressure I should expect. Thanks...

my autometer gauge reads 85-90psi on start up and when idleing in town at around 210 degrees (water temp) it reads about 25psi then jumps straight to 50+psi when accerating

Thanks for the info guys. Im taking it as just a cheap gauge and cheap sending unit. Glow Shift electrical oil pressure gauge, 52 bucks on eBay. Compare that to an Autometer electrical gauge at 212 bucks. For the full sweep Ultra-Lite. As long as I know I got oil pressure, I think I be fine...

It's perfectly normal for the pressure to be that high at start-up and fall back as the oil and engine heat up. With the engine hot the pressure should be 20-45psi at 1500 RPM.
