Default pooched my clutch

Well, i went to St Thomas last weekend and tried to do a few of my normal dry hops in the 94 and it wouldn't break the tires. Developed a bearing squeek in the transmission (step on the clutch pedal and it stops) so it's time for a new one. The car still drives but the pedal is really low.

My brother who used to have an 87 lx 5.0 says go with a CenterForce. I drive this car daily and occassionally take it to the track for some bracket racing. I have aspirations to more power like a charger or an extra 100-150 hp eventually. I was looking for opinions because this is my 3rd Stang and they have all been different (01 Gt and 06 Gt) and these 5.0s are new to me.

BTW- 94 gt CAI and flowmasters (which suck) so mostly stock

this is sort of a separate question related to the same thing. Mine has some sort of squeak like a bearing squeak and it only seems to happen when the clutch is to the floor, i have a racing clutch not sure what kind (was on car when i bought it) it doesnt happen very often and sounds like its coming from the transmission area. i know my tranny needs to be serviced, could this be the cause? if not why is it squaking?

Yes. It is the throw out bearing, yes you have to replace it. I just finished doing mine less than a week ago. Bought the RAM HD clutch with ford racing throw out bearing and pilot bearing, i would highly suggest these two bearings, the research I did before getting all of it led me to believe the aftermarket bearings that came with clutch kits dont hold up. my last one lasted 35000 miles, the stock one made it 90000 miles.

good luck
