How to wire Reverse Glow Guages???
I recently bought these reverse glow guages from Americanmuscle:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/99-04-...se-gauges.html
Does anyone out there have these also? Someone that might be willing to take the guage insert back out and take some pics for me as to how you wired it into your car and mounted the little box inside your dash. I've never wired anything into my car and I'm not very electrically inclined.
The instructions suggest soldering it in, but I have never soldered anything before. They may have a soldering kit at the base auto hobby shop though and i can probably have a guy who knows what he's doing watch over me and give me advice.
Anyway, I'm looking for pics on how it's supposed to look. Does anybody have any?

These kits are really easy to install, even for people with minimal electrical experience. The three biggest things are:
1. be careful removing the needles, if your kit requires you to
2. remove all the glue holding the old gauges on
3. get a good ground
The instructions are pretty good, but if you want color pictures, they can be found here: http://muscle.am/pnXkt9
As I said, one of the biggest things is make sure your ground wire is secured. Drilling a hole in the crash-beam and using a bolt to secure the ground is a good way to go about getting a secure ground.
If you are still having trouble, give one of our experts at AM a call and have them walk you through it! The phone number to reach them is in my signature!

Thanks man. You guys at American Muscle have some of the most outstanding customer support of any webside I've ever been on. Beyond just autoparts sites...any site I've ever called customer support on!
I think I'll tackle this on my upcoming day off.

Hey Tommy..It is real easy to install theses.
So that the light come on when you pull the headlight switch.
Wire the power (red wire out of inverter box) to your defoster switch power wire for light.
The kit you bought is the same one I bought for my GT.
You do not need to remove needles.Just slide over them carefully.
Also I didnt use the dimmer that came with them that the reason I wired it to defrost switch power for light so they dim \ come on with the headlight switch as factory
