Default Quick exhaust removal question about manifold studs

On my buddies 99 GT:

So were trying to remove the stock bolts / studs that connect the stock H midpipe to the stock mufflers. During the process 2 nuts got stripped on the bolts; so were just going to saw the bolts off since they are rusted on and damn near impossible to get off. Is this going to work granted we get new studs/bolts like this:

Any other suggestions for getting these damn things off? Need to install the new borla catback and remove the stock exhaust pronto! And is this the right part? Suggestions / help appreciated.
