Default pcv bad?

Hey guys recently my car has been leaking a lot of oil from the right valve cover nipple facing the intake arm. Blow by? possibly the pcv needs to be replaced? I'm curious to know the cause or if its just a regular maintenance.

Take the valve out and shake it... It should rattle back and forth. If it doesn't, it's stuck and should be replaced
