dude the exhaust is NOT hurting you. if you dont like the sound, then i recommend changing it, but otherwise, flows aren't gonna net you any more or less HP than the SLP exhaust.

the hot air intake does suck, yes, but you wont notice any hp loss until the engine is more than warmed up. good news is you can probably sell your intake to some other poor sap for the same price you'd buy a better used one.

also, comparing your car to a supercharged cobalt is not really a fair base of comparison. if i remember correctly, they run a low 13 stock. gt's run mid 14 stock, and they dont produce much tq down low (esp compared to, say, a fox body or gm f-body). if you want a real feel for where your cars at, take it to the track.

now im not sayin your car isn't suffering from something, but its not from your mods, unless they weren't installed properly. now a friend of mine bought an 07 supercharged gt from a dealer that had a real crappy tune on it, and he couldn't run better than a 14 (they run high 13s stock), so that would be my first guess. also, to check your gearing, just look at or around the differential for any markings. some brands and shops have a tag to put on the diff cover, or theyll engrave it on there.

I feel also that it depends upon the dyno, the car itself, and the weather (ya know?). OP, you should be between 230 and mid 240's. Because I've dyno'd twice with the same mods. Once on a mustang dyno (shop) and another time on the dynomax (mobile dyno). Bother were on mid 80's days I believe. On the mustang I got 244.6 rwhp & on the moblie dyno I got 230.3 rwhp.

If you car feels like its limping then you may have a bigger problem

If you just feel underpowered, it could just be your car is on an improper tune. A hot air intake doesn't sound like a good idea either. Get a CAI + Tuner combo kit from a vendor on here and see if you get some great results

+1 to the exhaust not hurting you... also +1 to the weather.

A car with cats will FEEL faster (idk in my opinion it does lol) but it's not.

Also, back to the weather, maybe i'm crazy but i can feel my car pull so much harder when its in the 70s vs 90s.... esp when its 90 during the day and then 70 that same night... its a world of difference. Maybe you drove the old car when it was cooler out and now the new one in this heatwave lol. Ditching the intake is a good idea.

this is so true.. for example, my friend ran his 97 cobra at the track when it was about 100 degrees outside, and couldnt get better than a 13.9. ran it again when it was low 80's/high 70's and hit a 13.6 (and he had a spark plug acting crazy near the top of his power band). i realize 3 tenths of a second doesn't seem like much on paper, but that seems pretty significant to me..
