Default Upper Intake Help

What would be the best upper intake to go with. I know there is a accufab,c&l,bbk, and trick flow. I noticed all the prices were different so would the accufab, the highest priced one, be the best. And are links showing any of these intakes on a dyno.

The C&L plenum and 75mm Accufab TB is the best setup you can buy. Go to www.CNLPerformance.com to see tested cars and their gains on the dyno. Here is the link to their dyno testing.

When I put my TB/Plenum combo on I ran it before and after on the stock motor seeing absolutely no gain. There may have even been a tenth loss in 1/4 mile. That's not to say a dyno tune before and after wouldn't make a difference but I doubt it.

My personal opinion is that if the car doesn't have mods that will pull in alot more air such as a blower or possibly ported heads and cam or stroker you wouldn't benifit any from a bigger inlet.

Yeah... the intake isnt the first thing you should do. In fact, it should be probably the last thing you do. You need to knock out the full exhaust and suspension before you worry about upper intake. Just my opinion... but I did post the best one of the picking.

then C&S 75mm t/b is about $169 and the accufab is Over $450? The Accufab cames with a Plenum, what is that?

Would a new T/B be a good next up grade(looka t my list of mods)?

As I contunue to learn,
Thanks

If you call C&L then they will give you the combo price for both of them. I think they will cost like $380 something if im not mistaken.
