i'll open the drivers door and the overhead light comes on until the door is open about 6 inches and then shuts off until it is open at the second door stop. by that i mean the notch on the hinges. 1st stop gives about a 1 foot opening, lets you slip out of your vehicle in close quarters, the 2nd stop is about a 2 foot opening. i'll have to pull the panel to see if there's any visible wires being pinched. anybody go through something like this? i wonder if this is related to my battery running down after 4-5 days of non-use. i've changed the battery & alternator and it hasn't helped. thanks.
