I have a 94 Mustang and i just got a head unit for it ... does anyone know how to remove the stcok one , it has 4 little holes on each corner and i know what has sometihng to do with it but do you need a certain key or sometihng , i dont want to stick anythng in them and break anything in there ... thx

You are supposed to have a special tool to do this. I took one out of a Navigator. I just used 4 thin nails and pulled and got it out. There are clips on the inside that open when somthing is inserted.

You need to go to oreilys and get the pullers. They are like U shaped and cost like 7bucks. You put them in there and they release the pins and u use the tools as handles to remove it. Also ive heard of people using wire hangers, not sure how that would work tho.

You need to get the ford stereo removal tools, they are just 2 littlle u shaped prongs that go in the holes and push outwards. It will work with little screw drivers also just dont go in to far with the screw driver or cut up coat hanger and just wiggle it out.
