IAC Issues
Title says it. I cleaned my air filter and throttle body this past weekend. And when I drove my car I noticed a difference in idle the car would pause at 1400 then drop down. So I had the code pulled P1506 and disconnected the battery let the KAM reset and the result from that was a much better throttle response but, the idle is even more erratic now. I can disconnect the batter again and clean the value this time and see if that helps. I will try that when I have time. Also I can unplug the IAC and the car will run normally. With that begin said my question is would a SCT Tuner help this problem? Explain please. And where is a good place to buy one with good costume tunes?

The tune has nothing to do with maintaining idle speed, other than that the various idle speed settings in the tune are read by the PCM's "operating system" to be used as target speeds.
The TB bore and butterfly have a special coating to prevent sludge build up and should not be cleaned:
The stickers are often missing on older cars.
You may have cleaned it to the point that too much air is flowing through the TB with the throttle "closed", so much that the IAC cannot do it's job. Here is the procedure for re-initialising the throttle stop screw setting--following this process may resolve the issues you are having...
