Battery died about three months ago so I havent ran the car in about three months. Got a new battery the other day and put it in this morning. Car doesn't turn over at all, clicks real loud like it does when the battery is dead but louder and gauges sweep each time I try to start it. The car ran fine when I parked it and its definitely not a daily driver. Any help can be greatly appreciated.

 

Check the battery voltage while cranking the engine--if it drops below 10.5V then the battery is not fully charged or has one or more bad cells...
