My '99 which has roughly 107,000 miles is unable to disable traction control.
I'm not throwing any codes, and for the most part the car seems to be running well.
It has happened occasionally that I'll have an ABS light on and the TC will be off (not recently) but I assume this is a wheel sensor or soemthing, and when the ABS light comes on, TC is always disabled.
I simply press the TC button behind the shifter and it won't turn off.
Anyone else had this, or know a remedy?

I'm certain it's not disabling.
No lights are on, and the system still kills the car under any slippage.
Makes it a pain in the *** to accelerate from any unlevel intersection.
I suppose I'll pop off the plastic cover and see if anything looks bad.
