Default Lower Shift Boot Question

Hey all,

I recently purchased an '04 GT and it has a Roush STS. Real nice, clean, shifts. However, the previous owner had forgot to install (or maybe just didn't care) the lower shift boot. Does the stock lower boot fit over these Roush bases? I get too much road & engine noise, and not to mention, heat.

I saw this on a thread when I was searching for an answer:
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ith-Metal-Ring

My car IS missing the metal plate too.

What I am looking for is A) Do you think this will fit? B) What size bolts are needed to install? It does not look like they come with the lower boot.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

Haha, just saw the hardware kit sold separately on that site! I really think it should fit, do you?

Thanks. If it were a stock shifter, there would be no question.
