window tint help

What are you looking for exactly? Many people just want tint, but want it to be legal, which here in Washington State, its 35% (amount of light that shines through). I've had my truck with 5% all around and I love it, but it's against the law (except my back window is legally allowed to be blacked out). I did have 15% on my old CTS and I really liked that. Dark enough so at night no one can see you, and light enough that it's not so dark inside the car at day time.

i have illegal tint. you simply cant seem inside my car. I used to be scared i was going to get pulled over for it and i would always rolll down my window and then I realized cops have more important things to do and they last thing they are doing is looking at your tint and thinking if its illegal or not. When i got pulled over last year cop didnt say anything about my tint. I got pulled over twice. one was even the DOT. They just dont care around here.
I have 15% i think. 35% is the limit here and its just not enough for me. not only do i like privacy I like the cooling effects it has in the summer. It used to be an issue for me at night but now I am used to it. also simply roll the window down if you feel you cant see something good. simple as that.
pick up some carbon fiber tint for the back panels. it looks neat I think.

I would ask people with dark tint in your area before getting it. Ask them if they get crap from the cops. That is what I did and turns out the cops in my area do not care about tint. That's why I decided to go with 5% all around and 35% on my windshield. You will love your car with tint! It really changes the look of it!

I would probably find out what's your legal limit and go from there. I'm pretty sure you can have the back window and sides tinted limo style. It's the front passenger and driver windows. that has to be a certain percentage. Some Cops won't bother you but unfortunately if a Cop is having a bad day, he may also make your day bad. A Cop made a friend of mine take his tint off on the spot. Just something to think about...See the pic below. Don't know if you can really tell but the rear windows are a tad darker than the front.
The Rear (completely blacked out)
