So im having a lot of trouble trying to figure out my problem. the problem is when I let my car sit for a while like over night for example...when i start it up for the first time my rpms jump up to about 2k then eventually drop to maybe 1.5k and go back and forth for about 5 min then the car runs fine after its done if i dont have time and take off when i let of on the clutch the car just falls on its face wont stall just hard to get going but once the car warms up it runs great. i have replaved the idle air control valve taken the throttle body and cleaned it replaced the egr for grins. so it leads me believes its the maf but the car is not throwing any codes at all. any thoughts?

 

check all your vacuum lines to make sure you dont have a leak.

 

checked all the vacumes and have checked more than once

 

i didnt mention that i have cams and after doing some research it seems possible that i have a not so good tune and my o2 sensors are not heating up enough on start up because when the car is at running temp it runs like a beast

 

Most likely tune related. I have the same problem. I blocked off my iac and opened up my throttle body to idle til I can get it retuned
