Default Shifter ball

I have an 03 Mach1 with the interior upgrade, and it has the aluminum shifter ball. Well, it looks real nice, but gets hotter than hell in the summer. Can you guys recommend a good looking ball made out of wood, or wrapped in leather?

In the following one, you need to click on Shop Shiftballs (on the left side):

In this link, I have the FRPP Black and brushed shiftknob and it doesn't heat up at all. Much better than the MGW I had in the past. There are a couple of others work looking at.

The heat from my MGW shifter, (aluminum and rubber) in my situation was a combination of the sun, but also the heat coming up from the transmission and going through the shifter. The FRPP was much better. Despite haveing the brushed aluminum shift patter, it does not feel hot at all because no heat is conducted from the transmission.

i got a hurst t-handle on mine and after sitting in a the sun light on a hot day for even a half hour, the shifter gets so god damn hot that you cant even put your hand on it for a second. I put a WHITE small towel over mine if its really hot and sunny. And it does not get hot, just warm. works like a charm.
