What track do you go to? Just curious, I'm from the Warsaw (Northern by Ft. Wayne) area and if you’re looking for a tuner check out Brenspeed they have really good customer service, and are located in Indiana.

Yeah I could understand that, it would take a lot for me to do it too. I have a 5 speed now but on my old mustang I would have done it, why not it’s pretty much a free mod! Working on your car is a learning experience just be careful and understand what you are doing before you tackle a project like that. And with the gears and a tuner it will be a new beast! Check out Brenspeed I live down the road from them and they do really good work!

It’s not supposed to be normal but it seems like a lot of our cars have a miss fire. Mine does when taking off too it just seems like it hesitates around 2 grand or so but only every once and a while.

Are you still spinning a lot, I'd get subframe connectors and some better tires. A lot of people sell stock rims on the internet if you picked up some of them and some drag radials you'd be surprised. Also what pressure are you running in the tires that you do have, when I go I drop the pressure in the rear tires and take out anything that I don't need like spare tire and rear seat just while I'm at the track then I put it all back in when I leave because it’s not hard to take those things out. And did you try launching without revving it because when you get those 4:10's they will spin like crazy without some good tires and revving it and dumping it isn’t as effective as taking off trying not to spine by feathering it.

Also practice makes perfect over a few more visits to the track you can drop your time considerably.
