Default would this work?

i was looking on this site and came across this. i have a 96 gt and i was wondering if this would work better than cold air intake? http://www.mustangtuning.com/maramairki9g.html

i think that thing would bring some water into the intake if it is raining very hard. I assume that it would go infront of the radiator?

It mounts under the fog light on the passenger side. Looks stupid if you ask me.

it will prob only give your engine cold air, i cant see how air traveling up that long tub into the stock air box then into the engine will give you a true ram air effect.
