Default 96 gt build

Hey guys I am new to the site and I am starting to build a 96 gt convertible ive already installed 4.10 gears and am working on th pi swap.My question is will it have to be tuned after i get it all installed

no it doesnt NEED a tune, just make sure you run 91 octane and you should be fine

with that being said, the car can obviously benefit from a tune afterwords

SCT tuners have an option for PI heads in the new models

I ran my full bolt on PI swapped 98 with no tune. The engine ran fine, but I felt like I could get more power with a tuner.

You don't need a tune, but it won't run that great and you're leaving a lot of power untapped. Depending what your goal is, why not do an engine swap? Either PI or maybe a 4V?
