Default Wheel Paint?

So I'm getting a new set of Bullitt wheels for my 96 GT.... They are chrome, but i'd like to have them powder coated.... What's the best way to do that?

Talk to a paint shop, the chrome will likely have to be removed so that any coating will adhere.

Powder coating a set of chromed wheels will likely cost as much as just buying painted wheels? I got my 9 x 17 and 10.5 x 17 "anthracite" wheels, with Nexen N3000 tires, for $768 from OE Wheels...

If the chrome is not chipping or peeling you can powder coat on chrome no problem. Some of the clear/Translucent colors require you to powder coat on chrome to get a real good look.
And the best way to get it done call a local PC shop and drop them off. It would help if they where completely clean first
