Oil Pressure Problems
Every morning and again in the afternoon, my oil pressure fluctuates between zero and mid-range for about two minutes after I start the car. This only occurs when the car has been sitting for a few hours.
If I am running errands, the oil pressure never fluctuates after being started.
Is there a port that I can use to plug in a different gauge? I just want to make sure that it's really a pressure problem and not just a faulty in dash gauge.
I just had the oil changed and did verify that it was at the proper level. Also, is there not a warning light in the dash for oil pressure?

I would buy a real oil pressure gauge before I worry about anything. The POS in the dash is a dummy light, in other words...below 6PSI it reads no pressure, above 6PSI it reads normal...
That doesn't really classify as a gauge to me. However, the sensor for the gauge is a $5 part from any parts place and lives right next to the oil filter.
