I'm running a MAC O/R H with my Bassani Catback and I love it. I like the sound of some of the x-pipes too but I would prefer H pipes over x anyday. But everyone is different, some guys prefer X pipes and I've also seen tons of guys get the X cause they talked to somebody that likes em and gets it and ends up switching to an H pipe and are a lot happier. But the Mac H pipes are good products as far as my experience with them.

Yep. I'm in the Army and live in Arizona. My best friend lives in San Antonio, and I went there for a few long weekends. My family lives in Louisiana, and I've been there. My ex-wife is in Georgia and I went there to spend some time with my son last Christmas. I also went to North Carolina in a separate trip when my current wife's mother was terminally ill. Needless to say, the miles added up. We also have a 2003 Silverado 2500 HD with a big 6.0L V8. That thing drinks gas and we rarely use it. Plus, wouldn't you be driving around town in the Mustang over some big 4-wheel drive?

Cant belive im viewing this thread again. Anyway, I went with the catted Hpipe and it sounds awesome hooked up to flowmasters. Nice deep sound. The o/r H will sound even better. The prochamber may be more of a higher pitch at high RPM`s because its kinda like a xpipe. Basically its a combo of an H and X pipe. The power gains between X and H pretty much are equal throughout the power band. But of course, the H is known for low end HP and the X is known for high end HP. IMO I would go with the H like I did. Had an xpipe and didn`t really like the sound at high RPM`s.

He got the catted H. We all know that without cats you have better sound and performance. Cant do that here, the fines if caught start at around 10000.
Does any one know what the fine in CA is for haveing a O/R mid pipe on?
