1996 GT with gutted interior?
There is a 1996 GT convertible that was stolen and gutted, engine, transmission, whole drive train essentially stolen, and the drivers seat, passenger seat, driver side door panel with the switches and stereo system were all stolen.
It is selling at a dealership and they are dropping in an engine transmission and drive train from a different Mustang, so that is not a problem. What I'm wondering is how much would it cost to repair this? How much could I get this interior stuff from a junkyard for?
I'm not really a great person with stuff like this, how hard would it be to put this stuff back on if I did get it? Would it be a better idea to pay somebody to do it? How much would I have to pay for it to be done?
This convertible is selling for $8500 Canadian OBO, how much would be a good price to offer considering the above?

The approximate conversion is about 1.45, so it would be equal to about $5,800 US. Still bull**** though. I'm sure you could find the parts and put it all in yourself for $2,000-$3,000. Hell, you could even spring for some nice racing seats and harnesses and a nice stereo system for that price.
