Window adjustment help
first off hello! i just recently purchased my first mustang, a 2004 GT with only 62000 miles, that i can have paid off in about a year and finally not have a car note!
anyway the car seems to have been kept in good condition with the exeption of the trunk being repainted (orange peel) and the power windows not ligning up correctly. if i am in the car the windows seem to work fine but if the window is up and i open the door it does not seal properly when the door is shut again. there ends up being about an inch gap. are the windows on a 2004 supposed to index? ive been told that they dont until 2005, are they adjustable?
any help would be appreciated! thanks
Jay

as far as I know our model do not index. and if I remember correctly the window motor is gear driven. maybe a tooth is chipped/broken or the mechanism might be worn and has play. only real way to know is to take off the door panel and see it function
