Seized spark plugs
#11
I changed them today. They all came out in one piece, I just had to crank on them real hard to get them out. It looks like one of the spark plugs had previously blown out because in one of the spark plugs holes it had what looked like a heli-coil and the spark plug itself had a washer around the threads to stop it from going in further, also the COP is different than all of the rest so I believe the spark plug shot out and ruined the previous COP.
The second spark plug from the passengers side was a pain in the *** to get out because a small part of the intake manifold was in the way and I couldn't get the socket into the damn hole, so I had to shave a tiny bit of plastic with a drill from the manifold to clear the hole.
Overall, the old plugs didn't look bad, but I don't know when was the last time they were changed, so I decided to do it. I went with Motorcraft Platinum SP-493 plugs.
