3 Bolt Tensioner - How to release tension? (Pic inside)
Hi guys,
I have a 99 GT with the steel 3 bolt tensioner (Ford Part # F8ZE-6B209-BB). It isn't as straightforward as the single bolt. Does anyone know how to release tension? I thought it would be a simple 1/2" or 3/8" breaker bar job from the front or rear but it isn't. I searched the forums and youtube with no luck on this specific tensioner. I need to replace alternator. Thanks in advance.
