Rear end problems
A few years ago when I got the car I had a shop convince me that the rear end was making noise (like when someone says "do you hear that whining noise" and you start to hear it anyway!!). So I had them rebuild it and put in 3.73s while they were at it. 3 months later I was back cause it was now screaming, they replaced everything under warranty and told me to get new tires cause mine were worn and causing uneven wear on the gears, and they would not warranty the gears again without new tires. So I did that and poof a year and a month go by (warranty ran out at 1 year) and we were back to whining. So fast forward to last year where I buy a full rebuild kit for the rear end and install. Everything was great for about 2 months and back at it again. It's so bad now that it is howling at 25 mph. I'm beyond annoyed at this point.
Any clue on fixes for this recurring problem? Replace entire rear end? I don't know that I want to keep sinking thousands of $ into this car. I love it but not enough to go into poverty over it!
Thanks

sounds like a bad install, gears aren't just a bolt on part. it's quite labor intensive to get both turning torque and wear pattern spot on.
