Default Stage 2 cam install help

I have hitech stage 2 cams on the way. Been searching not only this forum, but other sites for info. Anyone have a good wright up on cam install? Also I've heard mixed thoughts on adjusting the cam degree with new cams. So would I need to degree them and how so?

If you want to degree your cams which is a great way to squeeze out a few extra HP then I recommend taking it to a shop. It's not a job for a newbie. But you can buy the adjustable cam gears and youtube a howto.

If you just want to install them to factory timing double vision has a rebuild post on the front page and I already explained how to time the engine.

Thanks for the info. I've rebuilt 4 cylinder engines before. I'm familiar with 4.6 and 5.4 2v engines. Just never played with cams or timing before. Although could you elaborate on the cam install. I read your post on the other guys thread. But he had the head off so I feel the instructions are slightly different for timing and cam than what mine would be.
