Default Throw out bearing

FINALLY stepped up from a 2000 v6 mustang to a 04 gt! BBK Longtube headers and o/r x pipe. It has 140k miles on it right now. The previous owner had put in a Stage 2 Spec clutch last year. Now I know for sure its my throwout bearing that is bad because its making the whining noise and then when i push the clutch in just a little, it'll go away. But now if i push my clutch all the way in, it makes a grinding noise (not sure what that is). Any ideas what the grinding might be?

Found a place that will replace the TOB for $365. I could do it myself but I just dont have the time anymore because Im busy with pharmacy school. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

Can you feel the grinding through the clutch pedal? When I bought my car I could feel a vibration/grinding through the pedal when I pushed it in. The clutch was strong and there was no noise, so I assumed it was the quadrant or clutch pedal support. Turns out the TOB was actually in 2 pieces so that's the feedback I was feeling in the pedal.

Ya make sure they put in a FORD tob. That's probably why its acting up cause they put in the one that came with the clutch and not a ford unit.

I had the same problem and replaced my TOB and pilot bearing while I was at and all that went away
