My fuel gauge just stays at 1/2 tank, my odometer usually doesnt even light up but still always keeps track of the mileage, I've had the car since 2012 march 31st and have just never really cracked down on why my fuel gauge never works or my odometer would stay lit up but I'm wanting to figure out the problem

I have removed the cluster once and unhooked it and checked to make sure the connections were good and everything was hooked up properly

If someone could just give me some tips or know of anyone who has ever had the same problem I would greatly appreciate it, if you need to know more info just ask
