Default New Throttle Body/Check Engine Light

Hey Guys,

I just installed a SR 70mm Throttle Body+Plenum on my 2003 Mustang GT. Everything went on pretty smoothly except my check engine light came on. I used my Diablo tune to scan the vehicle and it came back with something about the Throttle. I'm guessing it has something to do with the TPS not properly aligned but I'm not positive. Do you guys have any ideas what could be setting off the check engine light?

What something about the throttle? The TPS is pretty hard to misalign since it really only goes on one way. Is it plugged in?

Either way. You did something wrong, go back and check your work.

My first question is what code did it give you?

P1120 – Throttle Position Sensor out of range
P1121 – Throttle Position Sensor Inconsistent with Mass Air Flow Sensor
P1124 – Throttle Position Sensor out of Self-Test Range
P1125 – Throttle Position Sensor Intermittent
