I recently purchased a 96 cobra, and the cooling fan does not engage. Well, i take that back, it engaged one time while i was at taco cabana, but other than that, it will go all the way to the "H" and never engage. I believe the fan itselt might just be out, but i've been reading about recalls they had regarding the cooling systems on those cars. Does anyone know where i can order parts for it? I've searched the regular places (autozone, advanced auto, oreily) and no one seems to have anything in stock for them. I'd rather just order an aftermarket, performance fan and 18 temp thermostat, but i can't find any place that has a fan assembly for them. I found a place that said the newer model cobra fans would work, but i would need the cooling system updated. What all does that include? Any replies will be appreciated, thanks.

Try www.rockauto.com they seem to have everything possible for any car. Ive gotten alot of parts from them and the prices are not bad either compared to any local auto parts store. the only problem is, you have to wait a few days for parts unless you overnight it of course. Hope they have what you need. Good luck.
