Default 3.73s or 3.90s?

iight im barely getting there but right before i finish maybe a couple car lengths im hitting the rev limiter in the 1320'. i wonder if i should look into 3.73s or if 3.90s will do it. though if i do 3.90s those gears cost more and i don't know if thats a big enough difference from the 4.10s to make me finish right where i want to be. what do you guys think.

also mind you that over the winter im adding stage 2 cams, stall converter, P&P my heads, headers and i'll be hooking up better with some suspension mods. thanks!!

thats what i have now and im banging the rev limiter in 3rd. i need to finish the 1/4 in 3rd cuz i don't want to get in my last gear. im thinking 3.73s. though i wouldn't mind trying the 3.90s but i don't think that'll be drastic enough of a change. thats why im asking you guys' help.

extend the revlimiter 500Rpms. I would keep the 4:10's getting 3:90's or 3.73's will just make you slower

Keep the 4.10's, you will need them after the cam swap. In order to take full advantage of the new cams you need to be willing to rev the engine higher. FWIW if want to be as fast as possible you should have shift into 4th. I shift into 2nd at the 60' mark if the car geared right.

Disregard what I said I assumed he had a 5 speed and was for some reason or another able to keep it in 3rd at the end of track. My bad.
