Default Dash Gauge Inserts

I recentley purchased one for my 02 GT. I took everything out of the dash. But the clear piece would not come off to put the insert in. It looks like it is glued in there and i do not want to break it. Any suggestions would be appreciated !

Hey man, that clear peace does not come off. Hold the gauges up to a light and you will see that the light from behind that clear piece will just shine through the gauges. What you need to do is just place the gauges on top of the clear piece and then just put everything together. One other tip, don't put the cover back on before you reinstall the gauge pod. Instead, take it outside and plug it in. Reason being is you will probably have to adjust some of the needles. Hope that helped, see ya!
