I see some parts speced for 02 to 04 GT, I'm curious why 01 is not included? What is the difference between 01 and 02 motors?

 

Which parts are you reffering to?

 

I assume you are talking about the upper plenum?? I know it has a differnt vac hose size.

 

Intake and head wise, are they the same? What about the block?

 

in 02 didn't the trany change also?

 

Tranny changed in the middle of 01. 01's had both the t-45 and the 3650 or whatever number it is.

 

The engine is identical in every performance way.

 

ive noticed that the edlebrock cat back exaust says that its only for 99-01? By the way has anyone ever heard it? Does it sound good? just askin

 

After mid-'01, the IAT sensor was integrated into the MAF. Good to know when ordering a CAI. Mostly, the '01-'02 motors are identical, except for which tranny they are mated to.
