Went tire shopping yesterday and the strangest thing happened. I got on the expressway to get to one of the tire stores and the tires did their normal thing until I got up to 55-60 mph then there was absolutely no noise at all. It was almost creepy. I was expecting them to get louder, but no. If I could just drive that speed all the time I could get some peace.

I've been looking for the best deal on good tires. I have some more time so I'm not in a big hurry. I've looked at Hancook's before may have to take another look.

Finally got some new tires. Ended up buying Goodyear Eagle Sports A/S tires. Best thing is no more noise whatsoever. I'm happy, happy, happy.

nice, I am running 255/45/17's I think. I have run bigger in the rear before but hydroplaning wasn't fun.

Hydroplaning is never fun, but makes for a change of underwear necessary.

Do a couple good burnouts. See if that helps. Have someone take pics.
