I have a 2000 Mustang GT auto ,it had a misfire but didn't throw any codes i replaced coils and it cleared up the misfire but when I did a p0743 code came up , the car only shifts sometimes by me have let off the gas and it would go to the next gear sometimes the car jerks back and forth sometimes and the rpm drops like a huge misfire but the trans doesn't slip any ideas before I change the solenoid in trans ima chevy guy so I wanted to see yall opinion on the matter.

P0743 just points to a fault in the TCC solenoid circuit. This means that the problem could be the solenoid, but it could also be in the wiring.

My Thunderbird had some corrosion in that circuit, but I caught it before it threw a code or caused any problems. I had to disconnect the connector by the transmission and disengage the pin to repair the circuit.
