Question Moderate/Loud Squeak When Taking Off!!!

So my 2004 Mach 1, Manual Transmission, and 83k miles on it....has been doing this for a month or so and it is really bothering me cause I can't figure out what is causing it! Basically whenever I take off after starting the car it makes a loud squeal/squeak noise from the engine area...It only does this after starting the car though...If I just stop and take off it will not do it! But if I shut the car off and start it again then take off it does! I have tried removing the belt and it still does it! Anyone got any ideas? I have looked all over the internet but only solutions i find is to listen to where the sound is coming from and diagnose from there...but unfortunately it only does it during the aforementioned times so I have to be in the car and taking off!

Thanks

It is when releasing clutch on first take off...Only does it right after start though? Once initial take off if I stop and go to neutral and take off again it does not do it? But if I shut the car off and start and then take off it lets out a loud squeak again? Its so weird!

dose your clutch peddle rattle any while driving? put a very little amount of pressure on the clutch not really enough to engage just to be able to feel it a lil if it's bouncing around any. if it is welcome to the club. I have replaced my whole clutch assembly and still have it hehe.

Sorry for late reply but no not really....the clutch seems to be ok and even though it happened before I purchased the car...the previous owner had a new clutch installed a few years back maybe 10-15k miles ago....Also seems to be coming from the front of the motor (even though it is kind of hard for me to be sure since it only does it on take off...I plan on changing my Tranny fluid this week though so I will give the cable a look while I am at it!

pull your driveshaft and check the u joints for binding or looseness, most of the time a squeak on take off is cause by a bad u joint in combination with the slight change in pinion angle that happens when initially loaded.
