mmr kit issues
#11
it wasn't the turning the motor that bent the head and/or cam cap, it was seating the bolts on cam cap-the lifter was bound between the piston and cam when I seated the cap it bent the cap and the seat on the head.

I took them out to test it's travel
i heated cap seated it and it appeared ok..."sinical haha"
and in the happy rush i got some sort of debris on my cam- re installed it and now i have caused a whole new issue and need to sand my caps =D "sings O happy days!"
whenever i manage to get my brain right and fix my head i will take my small block to a shop and see if the clearance's on crank are ok.

had them right.. found a bound lifter, thought I bent a valve they are all ok, will keep messing with it believe I found another debris scratch on first cam journal on the side where the rings snug it. I'm not sure where this came from every time I turn the motor on stand I find old oil in a new spot so must be debris from there. I am doing this indoors and keep it covered every time I leave and sprayed it down with a pressure washer and then re oiled before I started all this.
